Since my election in 2016, it has been a great honor to represent friends and neighbors in Los Angeles County’s 5th Supervisorial District.  I enthusiastically seek your support for re-election in 2020.

This is where I was born and raised, and my family has been committed to our community for generations. My own career in public service started as an intern for a Los Angeles County Supervisor, and I have served the public ever since. My husband is a retired Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy.

Here are my priorities:

  • Work to improve treatment for the homeless, foster children, seniors, veterans, those with disabilities and mental illness;

  • Support our First Responders, including firefighters, paramedics, and police officers; they keep our neighborhoods safe;

  • Preserve our environment with open space, enhanced parks, trails, and recreational facilities and programs;

  • Support community after-school programs and libraries;

  • Reduce unnecessary government regulation to promote economic growth and job creation;

  • Maintain fiscal responsibility and be a responsible steward of your taxpayer dollars while providing vital county services

I’m asking you to join us on this campaign. I am for our community, from our community and look forward to continue serving you as your County Supervisor.

Los Angeles County's Fifth District spans 2,800 square miles and is larger than the four other districts combined. It reaches from San Bernardino County in the East, Ventura County in the West and Kern County in the North. Our district includes the five valleys, Antelope, Crescenta, Santa Clarita, San Gabriel and San Fernando, which house our 22 cities and 87 unincorporated communities.
